1250W RMS into 2 ohms The ZX3200 amplifier
is designed around an 'over-specified' Toroidal power
transformer and Ultra Heavy duty diode bridges. To retain dynamic range
under even the heaviest load conditions, it uses a large
multi capacitor array for high peak current outputs, plus
our well established SplitSupply Power Supply
technology ensuring low noise and low distortion at all
power output levels. The ZX3200 can be switched to run in
bridged mono mode, and is optimised for low impedance
loads. The ZX3200 features a new
Dual Lateral Mosfet output stage with 20 Mosfets per
channel. This is designed to deliver very high current into
low impedance loads such as Sub Woofers. Headroom
Enhance
circuitry in the ZX3200 is based on the core ISC error
correction technology developed by ARX for our new range of
ISC Loudspeaker Processors. It provides Maximum power output
levels under all AC mains supply voltages and rated load
conditions, eliminating Output Stage clipping. Comprehensive

Over the years ARX
engineers have done intensive research into amplifier
protection systems. The ZX 3200 has a new re-settable High
Current relay switched protection circuits that instantly
disconnect the speakers when a potentially damaging signal
is detected.
New Input delay muting circuitry eliminates switch on/switch
off noise.
Dual variable speed
cooling fans circulate cooling air through dual units of
ARXs proven UltraFin(tm) heat
exchanger, ensuring that the Mosfet output devices are kept
well within their thermal tolerance levels under all
operating conditions.
In keeping with
current safety practices, the outputs are all fully isolated
Speakon connectors. For added convenience, there is a
separate connector for bridged mono mode.
Over 18 years ago,
ARX was one of the first companies in the world to bring out
a high powered amplifier (the SS700) in only 2 rack spaces!
