The System of the Future!
The PowerDrive integrated system amplifier has everything you need to run a complete PMX12 loudspeaker system in just one compact unit. No complex wiring - simply connect the outputs from your mixer and your speaker leads and that's it - there's nothing else to wire up!

Three Channel
The three channels of the PowerDrive amplifier are controlled by an onboard ARX speaker processor. This provides Phase Correction, EQ contour, Crossover (to the Sub) functions, and ISC Interactive System ControlTM. ISC continuously monitors the amplifier output level, and provides speaker protection functions to prevent overdriving.
Channels A and B have been designed to run one or two PowerMax 1, 2, 3, or 4s per side, and the rugged Sub channel will run up to two
ProSubs. As an added bonus, the PowerDrive's switchable 'Enhance' function can provide the dynamic impact of a much larger system.

New Technology Inside
Look inside the PowerDrive and you’ll see that it looks different from traditional amplifiers, without their masses of loose wiring, solder tags, and loads of interconnected circuit boards.
Its one piece circuitboard is a masterpiece of intelligent design and smart layout, and handles all three channels, plus the PowerPro circuitry.

Seriously Cool
UltraFin heatsink detail

In order to easily keep the output of the PowerDrive under control, we've further refined its innovative UltraFin technology, which uses the same techniques as air conditioning heat exchangers to deliver an amplifier that runs cool even under the most arduous conditions. Four rows of fins per heatsink gives a surface area of 450,000 sq mm per channel. No extrusion or casting known to man can even come close to its volumetric efficiency.

This enormous heatsink area is complemented by the use of 4 x high c.f.m variable speed DC fans, all pushing inwards to form a high pressure gradient forcing air through the heatsinks. The speed of these fans is temperature controlled, so that when the amp is idling, so are the fans. When the internal temperature rises, so does the fan speed.

Compatible

Although the PowerDrive has been tailored to suit the PMX12 system, it is compatible for use with many other similar speaker systems.
The rear panel has balanced Inputs on XLR connectors; outputs are Neutrik 'Speakon' insulated speaker connectors for fast 'plug and play' setups.

Line Outputs

There are also pre-processed line outputs for Channels A, B and Sub, so your existing amplifier inventory is not made redundant when larger systems need to be assembled.
The PowerDrive's powerful, feature packed specifications, plus its compact size, make it an ideal rental company/installation amplifier package.
