NAB Banks on 140 Channels of ARX Amplification
Leading Australian Installation & Integration Company IBS Audio Visual has completed the installation of 140 Channels of ARX ZA Power Amplification into the new National Bank Corporate Headquarters at the Docklands precinct in Melbourne.

A.V Consultant for the National Australia Bank Docklands project was Peter Blackmore of the Roberts Weaver Group. As part of the tender package, he designed and documented the functional specifications for the Bank's new headquarters which feature leading edge concepts in architecture and office planning and include a variety of audio-visual based meeting and conference rooms with F.O.H & distributed ceiling speaker systems.

In total, the project's A.V and Video conference systems utilise 18 units of ZA 600 6 channel Power Amplifiers and 4 units of ZA 800 8 channel Power Amplifiers. The speaker systems can be zone controlled via Clear One control platforms and the ARX multichannel amplifiers provided a one box high performance answer for amplification that was also viewed as being space & cost effective.

The National Australia Bank is the largest financial institution listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. By the end of 2004 over 3,500 employees will be situated in the new "modern office campus" styled NAB Docklands headquarters.
Melbourne Docklands is a new 200 hectare waterfront development site located close to Melbourne's CBD.

MSX 32s deliver Justice
ARX's Australian Distributor The Resource Corporation P/L has supplied the Queensland Justice & Attorney General's Department with 30 units of MSX 32 TS, 8 Channel Active Mic / Line Signal Splitters for their Court Reporting refurbishment program throughout regional Queensland .

The 30 units of MSX 32 TS have been installed to provide the core Microphone Preamp & Signal Distribution function for Court Room Audio Systems, Multi-track Analogue Court Reporting Systems & interface to the new online Digital Reporting systems installed in existing and new Courts in the northern Australian State.

ABC Studios upgrade with MSX 32 splitters
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (A.B.C) has taken delivery of two MSX 32 Active Mic & Line Splitters for their new Television Studio upgrade at their Ultimo Headquarters in Sydney. The MSX 32s were supplied by ARX's Australian Distributor The Resource Corp.

ZA's installed in Science Centre
Perth based Systems Integrator Pivod Technologies have supplied the Melbourne Museum's ScienceWorks complex with 3 ZA 800s and 1 x ZA 400 Multi Channel Power Amplifiers for soundscape applications for their new Exhibits.

The ZAs are fitted with PIVoD's ground breaking audio streaming technology; VIPA (Venue Internet Protocol Audio).

Crowne Plaza Project Delivered
ARX have recently completed shipping one of our largest individual orders of the past year for the new Multi Million Dollar Crowne Plaza Hotel Project in Beirut, Lebanon.
ARX Distributor Doummar Freres Sarl has the contract to design, supply and install the fully integrated Audio Video system for the new Hotel's banqueting and conference facilities which also includes stage lighting, conferencing and simultaneous translation systems, lighting and dimmers, and mobile band equipment

The project's Audio systems include over 40 PowerMax Series Loudspeakers and various quantities of UltraSubs, Micro Max 1s, Ambience 5s and AmbiSubs powered by 15 ZR 850 and 350 Power Amplifiers and SX 1500s, ZA 600s PowerDrives and AmbiDrive Power Amplifiers.
Signal Processing comprises 12 EQ 60 Equalisers, 11 AFW 1 Anti Feedback Workstations and quantities of Maxisplit Line Splitters, Mixxmaster Mic Mixers, e-Pre Mic Pre amps, Mixx Mic Mixers, Afterburner Comp Limiters and EC 2 Crossovers.

Doummar Frères are extremely active in the Contracting and Installation markets of Security and Audio-Videowith projects such as the world-renowned Casino du Liban (CCTV),The Central Bank of Lebanon as well as numerous other banks, hotels, hospitals and other government buildings.

ARX features in Vatican Install
The recent Installation of ARX Products into new Audio Systems at Saint Peter’s Square, and several other locations within the Vatican features five ARX Maxisplit Line Splitters for Signal Routing & Zoning to the 33 Crown Comtech 1610 hi-voltage amplifiers feeding 30+ EAW KF 900 Series Loudspeakers.

The complete Audio System is managed by a CROWN IQ Control System. Another five ARX Maxisplit Line Splitters were installed as part of the audio system at the Nervi Hall, the 7000 seat auditorium within the Vatican.
In the audio systems at the Blessing Hall and San Damaso Court ARX Mixx 4ch Microphone Mixers and further ARX Maxisplits have been utilised for Microphone Mixing and Zoning.

ARX First past the Post at Ascot
In Perth Australia, the world's most remote Capital City, longtime ARX Installer CFM Technologies have just upgraded the Sound System at Ascot Race Course, Perth's Premier Horse Racing Venue.
CFM have replaced all the existing amplification with ARX ZR 550C & 850C Constant Voltage Power Amplifiers throughout. ARX's Western Australian Representative Ian Ross facilitated the sale.

ZA amplifiers go to Court
In Queensland, Australia Specialist Law Courts Audio Installer Rabone Systems has installed new Audio Systems at the Mt Isa Law Courts Complex featuring ZA 600 Multi Channel Amplifiers throughout.

Laurence Sound Making History with ARX
Brian Laurence from renowned Melbourne based audio soundscape producers Brian Laurence Sound P/L has recently completed a major Soundscape project at Beechworth, in the heart of Australia's "Bushranger Country" using a variety of ARX Products.
In the new Beechworth Historic Precinct Laurence Sound created several 12-channel surround soundscapes, one for the Bourke Museum's "Street Of Shops", and the Old Beechworth Courthouse, each of them 'bringing to life' the static displays by re-creating the sounds of the wild 1870s. Gold Rush period.
The large-screen video show features 8 Channel surround sound based on a Fostex D-160 time-coded to a Pioneer DVD player. Laurence Sound again used a Level 8 to interface the unbalanced outputs to the inputs of the ARX Ambidrive 3 Channel Power Amplifier used for the main L & R, plus sub, and the ARX ZA-600 6 Channel Power Amplifier for the surround channels.
