MIXXMaster Architect's Specifications

The mixer shall have an "open  buss" architecture to allow easy linking of the output busses of multiple units.It shall be mounted into a standard 1 RU all steel chassis with extruded aluminium front panel.

It shall have two independent 3 pin female XLR balanced microphone inputs channels which shall be able to be switched to line inputs. 
It shall also have three stereo line input channels on RCA type (phono) connectors, and all these input channels shall combine down to a stereo output pair of balanced male 3 pin XLR connectors controlled by Left and Right Master controls on the front panel.

The two Microphone channels and the first stereo line input channel shall have EQ controls on the front panel for
Low, 100Hz 15dBCut/Boost, Shelving type; 
Mid, 800Hz 15dB Cut/Boost, Bell curve, Broad Q; 
High 10KHz 15dB Cut/Boost, Shelving type. 
There shall also be a true L & R constant level Pan control. The second and third stereo line input channels shall have level controls only.

Switchable Phantom power shall be available on all the microphone inputs, to enable the use of condenser microphones and direct boxes.
The rear panel shall also have a Priority override switch for Channel 1. When enabled, this shall reduce the level of the other channels by 20dB.There shall be 5 pin DIN "open buss" connectors on the rear panel of the unit.
The Input Gain shall be variable between 20dB-60dB on Mic/Line channels by a rear panel trim control, as well as a Mic/Line input switch.

The Channel Level shall be variable from infinity to +6dB Gain, and the Frequency Response shall be 20-20KHz ±1dB. THD shall be less than .005%, 100Hz to 10KHz.
The Master Outputs Signal to Noise ratio shall be -90dB unweighted.
The Direct output impedance shall be 150 Ohms, and the balanced Master Outputs impedance shall be 300 ohms.                      
Maximum Output Level shall be +20dB
AC power range shall be switchable 100 to 120V or 220 to 240V AC, and shall be connected to the unit via a standard three pin IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch.
