The line mixer shall be mounted into a standard 1 RU all steel chassis with extruded aluminium front panel.

It shall have two independent mixdown groups, each consisting of four line inputs with individual level controls and internal RF filters.
There shall be a switch on the rear panel to change the unit to a single mixdown group with eight separate inputs. The front panel shall have indicator LEDs to show which mode is active.
Each input shall have up to +6dB of gain available, and shall allow full attenuation of any line level signal. 

Each of the 3 pin female XLR electronically balanced inputs shall combine into electronically  balanced 3 pin male XLR master output connectors. 

Input Impedance shall be 44K Ohms Balanced, and 22K Ohms Unbalanced.
Input Headroom shall be +21dB, and Maximum Output Level shall be +26dB.
Output Signal/Noise @ unity gain shall be -95dB unweighted, -101dB A weighted.
Output Impedance shall be 300 Ohms Balanced, 150 Ohms Unbalanced, and Dynamic Range shall be 120dB.

Frequency Response shall be 20Hz-20 KHz -1dB.
Distortion @ unity gain, 100Hz shall be .0035%, at 1KHz it shall be .0033%, and at 10KHz it shall be .0037%.

AC power range shall be switchable 100 to 120V or 220 to 240V AC, and shall be connected to the unit via a standard three pin IEC connector, with built-in fuse and voltage change switch.
