ZA5 1 Power Amplifier



The amplifier shall be a Six channel all steel unit 2 standard rack units high, 19" (482mm) wide and 16" (425mm) deep with front and rear rack mounting points.

Input connectors shall be Balanced TRS Jacks, wired  Tip + Hot, Ring - Cold, Sleeve Audio Ground. Input connectors shall be normalled 1 through 6.

Output connectors shall be Neutrik Speakon, wired as follows: Connector 1/ Channel 1 Left (1+, 1-), Channel 2 Centre (2+, 2-), Connector 2/ Channel 3 Right (1+, 1-), Channel 4 Left Rear(2+, 2-), Connector 3/ Channel 5 Right Rear (1+, 1-), Channel 6 Sub (2+, 2-).

Level controls shall be mounted on the rear panel as standard, and optionally mounted on the front panel

Input Impedance shall be 40 Kohms Balanced, with a CMRR of >70dB @ 1 KHz.
The Input CMRR @ 1KHz shall be greater than 70dB, and the Channel Separation @ 1KHz shall be -88dB. Frequency response @ rated output shall be 20Hz - 20KHz ±0.4dB.
Distortion shall be 0.027% @1KHz 8 ohms.

The Slew Rate shall be 35VuS and the Damping Factor shall be 200:1.
There shall be LED status indicators for Signal present and Protection functions. Protection features shall consist of headroom enhancing soft limit circuitry, 2 x fans, DC sensing, and Input/Output muting at turn on and turn off.

The Output power of channels 1 through 5 shall be 75 watts RMS into an 8 ohm load and 100 watts RMS into a 4 ohm load. 
Channel 6 (Sub channel) shall have a separate power supply and an output power of 180 watts RMS into an 8 ohm load and 250 watts RMS into a 4 ohm load

AC Power shall be supplied 'zone-specific' at 100/120/220/240V AC on a removable power lead.

The amplifier shall be the ARX ZA5.1.
